I know what you're thinking, "these are delicious!" Just kidding, they don't look that safe. Apparently these are the shoes that were worn during Galliano's fashion shoe. I'm sure the clothes looked great, but I'm sure everyone's mind was on these. Galliano is probably just trying to make his models taller and show off his clothes. From first glance all the styles have numerous straps to ensure that the models stay attached to the shoes. Probably not so good if any of them fell.
Unfortunately for any of you that might like these, they aren't availiable for sale to the public. It's for the best because you'd most likely fall and break some bones. But if you like Galliano and want to see more of his work check it out: Galliano

well I clicked on that link out of curiosity.... no offense to Galiano, but his models look like men. Also, those shoes look painful and impossible to walk in. They almost look like striper heals, except the pole is included in the shoe. If you took off maybe 7 out of the 12 inches on the heal, they could actually be pretty cute.
ReplyDeleteIf that weird extension of height was taken from these heels they would actually be kind of cute. The extra part added makes the shoe look cheap, and I know shoes by Galliano are far from cheap. People should embrace their own height rather than adding another ruler length to it.
