Reuse a shoe.

Instead of talking about some weird shoes i found on the Internet or shoes that i lust over over and over again, I'm gonna tell you about what you can do with those old beat up shoes just taking up space in our closet.

Nike, like the rest of the world, is on a green rampage. They started back in 1990 and have been running strong ever since. With reuse a shoe you drop them off at any Nike store in the specified bin. Then your shoes get shipped to one of their processing centers all over the world where they grind them up. when it's all said and done your old shoes could become part of a basketball court, track, or any other type of playing field. Sometimes they even turn old shoes into new shoes and other apparel.

We recycle everything else, why not your shoes as well. You can recycle the shoes as a group or by yourself.

Happy Socks!

I know these aren't shoe, but they still go one your feet right? This company Happy Socks specializes in well what else but socks. If you go to their website you will see how organized they are. Socks are truly these peoples passion. Their site is organized into the number of colors, styles, patterns, and other aesthetic characteristics. They have just about every color under the sun.
Unforunately such a specialty comes at a high price, with each pair starting at $10. But it's only because this is all this company does all day everyday. They even have socks that you can wear in high heels. [that's pretty cool] If you like them check out their site here: Happy Socks

You may need some crutches for these.

I know what you're thinking, "these are delicious!" Just kidding, they don't look that safe. Apparently these are the shoes that were worn during Galliano's fashion shoe. I'm sure the clothes looked great, but I'm sure everyone's mind was on these. Galliano is probably just trying to make his models taller and show off his clothes. From first glance all the styles have numerous straps to ensure that the models stay attached to the shoes. Probably not so good if any of them fell.
Unfortunately for any of you that might like these, they aren't availiable for sale to the public. It's for the best because you'd most likely fall and break some bones. But if you like Galliano and want to see more of his work check it out: Galliano
Tell me what you think about this divine pair of heels.

Strap 'em up!

I have nothing against strappy shoes, but these are a bit much. They are rather cute though. The extravagant strappiness [don't think that's a word, but whatevez] of the sandal is very similar to the gladiator sandals. Although this particular look is a bit more sophisticated. These shoes are good if one wants others to focus solely on their feet. The diverse patterns of the straps command their own attention, while not bringing your attention away from the entire shoe as a whole.
Of course individuality has it's price, and these come in a a whopping 1,040 euros. [about $1,344.41 in America] I'm sure none of you can afford them but if you like them a lot visit Brown's and check them out for yourself. If you do get them they would go perfectly with anything black, red, silver ,or white.

Five fingers, or toes??

When I first saw these I thought the were just the coolest concept ever. They are called "Five Fingers," but clearly they have five separated toes. Apparently these shoes are great for running, water sports, hiking, and yoga. In 2007 it was named one of the best inventions by Time magazine. I would love to have a pair of these to take to the beach, since i despise sand.

These shoes come from a company called Vibram[here's their website: Vibram] They run at about $75 at about and are well worth the money. They have four different models; classics, sprint, KSO, and flow, each one different because of it's main usage. For women they have six colors and the men have eight.

I think these are pretty cool, tell me what you think.

I guess these are peep-toes!?!

While i was doing my usual Internet browsing these caught my eye. I'm not really sure what to call them, the front looks like sandals and the back, well I'm not too sure about that. It would be an ideal shoe for one that wished to have warm ankles and colder toes. I don't recommend wearing these out in the summer because of the awkward tan lines that might occur. The designer of theses shoes, Che Che Chin from 80%20, calls them peep-toes, but how would one describe the rest of the shoe. It's not quite a sandal, but it isn't a sneaker either.

I guess this is the style of a fashionista, but I'll pass on this one. If you dare rock this unique pair of footwear, you probably won't be imitated. For those who might really like these they start at about $128 [apparently even ugly footwear isn't cheap] The retailer the designer recommends is Urban Outfitters. They come in about five different colors; black, grey, blue, orange, and yellow.
All of you normal people tell me what you think about these...
