I know everybody has seen these on many people's feet. They are terribly ugly, even so I myself own a pair. Your feet haven't been truly warm until you've worn a pair of Uggs. The outrageous thing about these boots is the fact that despite the tremendous heat in California, Florida, and even Texas, people continue to wear them. The people that made them most popular, who else but the celebrities. Logically I would think that to wear these boots in such tremendous heat that your feet would sweat. I've never worn mine when it's hot outside, and I don't plan on doing so, therefore the world may never know about the whole foot sweating thing.
Uggs come in many different colors, but the classics; black, chestnut, and sand look the best. (If it's even possible for them to look good.) They tend to look even more decent when the tops are folded down to reveal the wool on the inside. The best component of Uggs boots are the warm and wool filled inside. In my opinion Uggs are the absolute worst looking shoes or boots ever, but even so their hideous-ness will not stop me from wearing my beloved boots. It will keep me from wearing them in non-winter months though.

I like your blog! haha. Besides crocs I'm not going to lie Uggs are pretty darn ugly. Back in the day I always thought I would never give in and get a pair. Well then out of no where I found out I would be going on a little trip to North Carolina and needed some boots. My mom ended up getting me a pair of black Uggs. I vowed I would never wear them except for this one vacation. Needless to say a lot of things have changed since then. As soon as I spent a few minutes in the boots I new it was the beginning of a beautiful frienship! I wear them all the time even if it's 60 something degrees outside. Also another pointer for anti Uggs fans: They are probably the most comfortable foot wear EVER and it insulates your feet at what ever the room temperature is. So hot or cold Uggs are the way to go!
ReplyDeleteI find Uggs to be the most unattractive shoe ever, yet I am guilty of owning a pair. Along with Nicole, I never thought that I would give in a get a pair. Two years ago, my mom was planning a trip to Colorado for winter break and she bought my sister and I some Uggs. Despite their unattractive look, they are super comfy and warm!
