Personally Air Force Ones are my favorite shoes. They are so cool that they are named after our presidents favorite mode of transportation. These wonderful shoes got their start in 1982. They were made for the basketball court, but eventually they made their way into everyday fashion. If you've ever seen me at all, you've probably seen some Air Force ones in a color that most likely matches my outfit. (They also attribute to the extreme paleness of my feet.) These were the first shoes to have an "air pack" inside the sole for comfort and cushioning. Because of their popularity, they are widely available in a variety of different color combinations. The true classics are the all white low tops.
Air Force Ones have been used to showcase many talented artists. Such as Nike's One World collection, every month they invite an artist or athlete to come and design a sneaker that represents their persona. The group of participants range in race, location, and job titles. They also make Air Force ones to honor charities, special events, holidays, and prominent people in history. Some of the different events they often celebrate are Black History Month, Valentines Day, Christmas, and St. Patrick's Day. Overall they are good shoes, nice and comfortable, they have enough styles to match your entire wardrobe, and they often support charities. Air Forces are my favorite shoes, my second choice being Jordans. They can practically match with anything you wear. There are so many different types of combinations you can make it match with whatever you wear. I'm saving up to buy my favorite ones, the hi-top black air forces for my birthday.
